Peter Lacko
Member of the Board of Directors
He works at the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava, where he lectures a subject on Artificial Intelligence. He leads a research group and seminars focused on artificial neural networks and natural language processing. He is a member of IEEE and ACM.

Zdenka Lenartová
Executive Director
Before joining slovak.AI, she worked at the Ministry of Finance, where she coordinated the communication of lawyer’s teams, analyzed and prepared documents for the defence of the Slovak Republic dealing with international investment arbitrations. She represented the interests of Slovakia in the OECD Investment Committee in Paris and in the Working Group for the European Stabilization Mechanism in Brussels.

Petra Zappe
Team slovak.AI
Currently working in the American Chamber of Commerce in the Slovak Republic as a policy officer for health care and artificial intelligence. Petra is a strong advocate for the development and application of specific AI solutions that will contribute to the real benefit of Slovakia. Until 2015, she worked for eight years in poverty reduction project management in Latin America, Brazil in concrete.

Chairman of the Scientific Council
He works at the Technical University of Košice, his specialization is artificial intelligence in the cloud environment with an emphasis on computational intelligence and usability in social robotics. He is the initiator of the project AI-Idea Slovakia. He is also a director of the Center for Intelligent Technologies.

Viera Rozinajová
Vice – Chairman of the Scientific Council
She works at the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava and leads a research group engaging in data analysis, namely knowledge approaches to intelligent analysis of large data. She is a member of the Scientific Council of the Centre of Excellence “International Centre of Excellence for Research on Intelligent and Secure Information and Communication Technologies and Systems”. She is a member of the IFIP TC8 (Information Systems) Technical Committee, where she represents Slovakia.

Vice – Chairman of the Scientific Council
She works at the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava and leads a research group engaging in data analysis, namely knowledge approaches to intelligent analysis of large data. She is a member of the Scientific Council of the Centre of Excellence “International Centre of Excellence for Research on Intelligent and Secure Information and Communication Technologies and Systems”. She is a member of the IFIP TC8 (Information Systems) Technical Committee, where she represents Slovakia.

Member of the Scientific Council
She works at the Institute of Informatics of the Slovak Academy of Sciences and she is engaged in modelling and simulation of discrete processes, multi-agent systems, artificial intelligence methods and knowledge modelling. She is currently involved in the application of nature- inspired optimization methods to different domains – manufacturing systems, logistics, and control of mobile robots group (swarm robotics).

He works at the University of Žilina at the Faculty of Management and Informatics, and he is a researcher in ERAdiate + team, which focuses on intelligent transport systems. His research deals with applications of convex and combinatorial optimization and data analysis in transport and energy.

His research is devoted to artificial neural networks and their use especially in cognitive robotics. Every two years he organizes the Czech-Slovak interdisciplinary conference Cognition and Artificial Life.
